practices of circles of support?

Understanding the importance of developing
a vision for the focus person

How to run a gathering and
maintain the circle

·
The things that can go wrong and
how you can manage them.

Post-workshop
Follow-up

Following the workshop, Imagine More and Community Connections will
be running a series of community conversations based on specific aspects of a Circles

their own circles of support. Linking people with a paid facilitator to get
started and maintain their circle will be supported if needed.

Behaviour or communication??

Challenging behaviour is a controversial topic in Canberra at the moment. Imagine More is hosting Ann Greer to help us explore:

How you can
respond to behaviour in ways that are respectful and non-punishing.

How you can
work collaboratively to understand the motives, effects and consequences of
behaviour.

How you can
develop a range of strategies to minimise the effects of certain behaviours.
Ann has over 20 years of formal experience in working with people labeled
as having "challenging behaviours" and is a well known and highly
sought after presenter in Australia and New Zealand. She has a deep commitment
to assisting everyone to be part of their community as active members, both
receiving and contributing. Ann is the mother of 3 adults, two of whom live
with a disability.Register by at http://www.trybooking.com/IPEB
