MOBILITY ASSISTANCE - A WORKSHOP FOR FAMILY
CARERS
This workshop will focus on back care and mobility assistance for carers to use
around the home, teaching a no-lift procedure to assist people in and out of
beds, chairs, cars and the bathroom.
Facilitator: Barb Lawson has worked for many years in direct care and
care co-ordination with older people and people with disabilities, and now
teaches in aged care studies at CIT.
