The National eHealth Record System

Your eHealth record grows with you

Up until now every doctor, clinic or hospital you have visited has
maintained a separate record of your health.

Now, with your consent, an eHealth record can be created to supplement
these files by linking key information about you.
This means that no matter where you are in Australia - or which doctor
or hospital you visit - a summary of your healthcare information will be
available to assist in your diagnosis and treatment.

The new eHealth record system is a landmark initiative of the Australian
Government to streamline and enhance patient care.

There are three ways to register for a free eHealth record:

1. Online at www.eahealth.gov.au<http://www.eahealth.gov.au>

2. By calling the national eHealth Helpline on 1800 723 471

3. In person at Medicare Australia

If you're a member of a service club or community group the Calvary
eHealth team can come and speak to you. To arrange a free presentation
simply give us a call on 6201 6161.

Calvary eHealth is your local gateway into Australia's new national
eHealth system through the healthcare services and facilities of the
Little Company of Mary Health Care group.
Across the ACT and southern NSW we're helping consumers and healthcare
providers to become eHealth ready in partnership with ACT Medicare
Local, Southern NSW Medicare Local, Southern NSW LHD (NSW Health), ACT
Health Directorate and The Pharmacy Guild of Australia.
