Alive, Best Club and Positive Links

Just a reminder about our Alive program (flyer attached), this program is aimed at people who are aged or young with a disability. The next talk will be Thursday 14^th Feb about cooking for one. The following talk will be Thursday 21^st Feb about Photography for beginners.

 

Also a reminder about 2 of our other groups BEST club and Positive Links:

 

BEST Club – Belconnen Energetic Seniors on Tuesdays – is for people who are at risk of being socially isolated within the Belconnen area.  They meet at West Belconnen Leagues Club on Tuesdays from 10.30 to 1.30.  We have varied speakers on many topics, entertainment, games and many outings booked for this year.  Age range is 60 up.  Again HAAC criteria need to be met and referrals go through Information and Referral. 

 

Positive Links meets at Belconnen Community Centre Meeting Room 2 on Fridays from 10.00 to 1.00.  This started out as a group for people who have had a stroke however has been broadened to people with a physical disability. Again we have varied speakers on many topics, entertainment, games and many outings booked for this year.  Again HAAC criteria need to be met and referrals go through Information and Referral.  Age range is 40  up.

 

Transport is available if on BCS data base.  Cost per day for both groups is $5.00 which includes a scrumptious morning tea.  Lunches can be purchased from the WBLC bistro and BCS Café.
