Tandem Respite, Canberra - 2 Positions
Tandem Respite Inc is a progressive organisation providing flexible support
and respite in the home and in the community and a range of other programs
to enable people to lead the life they choose.
We are offering you the chance to make a difference in people's lives by
joining the Tandem team in one of two positions.

Family Support Practitioner, AFFIRM
As a Family Support Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with
families to enable them to develop their strengths and abilities and
networks of support. AFFIRM uses an intensive family support model within a
strengthsbased framework. AFFIRM is a program of Tandem and operates on a
dual governance model with Disability ACT. AFFIRM works with families, who
have a child or young person with a disability and high and complex needs.
You will have a qualification in an allied health area and/or experience in
working with families across the disability, health, education and care and
protection sectors. You will be committed to working in partnership with
families and other community agencies and government bodies, to achieve the
best possible outcomes for families.

Coordinator, Living Skills Program
As Living Skills Coordinator you will work with people to help them develop
their independence and increase their functional abilities. The Living
Skills Program has a clear emphasis on enabling and empowering people to
achieve identified and meaningful goals.
