Children with Challenging Behaviour Workshop

Inviting all parents and educators to discuss working with children with
challenging behaviour (children with special needs, learning difficulties,
emotional disorders, disabilities, drugs, family break-ups or general
behavioural difficulties).

This workshop focuses on strategies that can be used at home and in the classroom.
Our workshop features guest speaker Dr Therese Cumming, a leading specialist and
educator in the field of emotional and behavioural disabilities and disorders, special needs and social skills training of children (primary and secondary).

Dr Cumming will be discussing current research in the area of emotional and behavioural disorders and current strategies, which can be used to assist children with challenging behaviours. Dr Cumming is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (Sydney) and will be available to answer any of your questions as part of our workshop.

This is a free workshop and it is open to all members of the public. It will be held on:
Tuesday 3rd July 2012 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Hedley Beare Centre for Teaching and Learning (Stirling ACT 2611)
