I-Day Expo

Hello everyone

You are most cordially invited to the I-Day Expo and Market, which is being held on Saturday 1st December, at Albert Hall, from 10am to 2pm, to celebrate International Day of People with Disability. There’s a huge array on offer:

·         stage performances - featuring internationally acclaimed Rudely Interrupted , X-Factor’s Declan Sykes, and other bands, school choirs, dance and drumming groups

·         market stalls  - jewellery, art, craft, pottery, food

·         sports activities - basketball, soccer, cricket, table tennis, softball

·         free children’s entertainment - face painting, jumping castle, badge making, beading

While our community has made huge gains in supporting CALD and ATSI communities through celebrations such as Harmony Day, Multicultural Festival and NAIDOC Week, to name a few; we aren’t as progressive in supporting days of significance for people with disability. Your participation in this year’s Expo will be a significant step towards redressing this.

Let’s elevate and celebrate people with disability. All welcome!
