Autism Asperger ACT (AAACT) provides support, information and referral for
families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. (ASD).

Family Support Officer - job share (39- 45 hrs f/n) Key responsibility:
AAACT's Family support Officers provide information and referral to local
community services, short term crisis case management and counselling for
families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder concerns.

Salary - (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience)

Selection Criteria: Social work qualifications or similar qualifications

* Availability in the evening to facilitating support groups is
essential
* Experience in providing advice and information to families in a
case management framework
* Experience in providing community information and education
* Strong written skills including the ability to create information
documents for families
* Excellent computing skills with the ability to maintain data
systems
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to work independently and within a small team.
* Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
* An understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Health and Wellbeing Project Officer
Key responsibility:
The Health and Wellbeing Project Officer role is a key role in developing
strategies for promoting, enhancing and increasing health and fitness of
individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder through increased participation in
physical, social, sports and activities.

This is a fixed term position until 30th June 2013.
Hours: 12 hrs p.w.
Salary - (negotiable depending on experience)

Selection Criteria: Strong written skills including the ability to create
information packs

* Ability to maintain data systems
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
* Experience with meeting reporting requirements for a funding grant
* Excellent computing skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to work independently and within a small team.
* Experience in the not-for-profit sector
