Funnyworks Oz cartooning workshops

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!!

The beginning of another year of possibilities and opportunity and I thought
the first "official" working day a good time to let everyone know that
"QUICK DRAW" cartoon workshop programs are available throughout the year,
either as one offs or weekly fixtures!

With workshops being facilitated for

Mental Health including hospitals
Schools
Community Organisations
Disability
Juvenile Justice
Aged Support
Work place training
ACT Gov and others.........

These cartooning workshops are relevant, meaningful and also a lot of FUN as
they focus on visuals with lots of HUMOUR, to convey a message, opening up
positive communication among a group. There are many varied themes
available, ranging from recovery/strength based sessions, life skill
sessions , confidence building and general cartoon creation based among many
others.

What makes the workshops unique is the use of SPEED DRAWING - this is
drawing as people in the group talk/describe a situation. The reaction of a
group seeing themselves drawn in a positive light as they talk can be very
positive and also enables individuals to remember session topics a lot more
clearly - the power of cartooning and humour at work!
