New Training Opportunity

Train4Life is proud to open positions in a new and innovative course open to all members of the community and clients of the community sector. Anchors, a supportive and outcome based course, is designed to assist service users to re-enter education based on the personal strengths of each participant with an aim to explore various future employment opportunities, including self employment and home business opportunities.

The underlying qualification is at a Certificate II level; assessment work and class participation has a large range of flexibility and adaptability to suit individual learners including those with literacy challenges, physical challenges and various states of mental health.

Some of the positive outcomes from our pilot Anchors program include:

One student has commenced a pre-university course and is looking forward to entering university to engage in further study
A student that has spent a lengthy amount of time in the grips of addiction has started studying for her year 10 certificate
Another student gained the strength and courage to leave a toxic relationship and start a new life with her young child

We have only 2 places left in the next round of this foundational course starting this Thurs 7th March from 10am. If you know of any community service user who is ready to take the next step into adult education, please contact Train4Life on 6258 0008 to enquire.
