ROAD READY TRAINING!
After repeated requests the YWCA of Canberra's Lanyon Youth and
Community Centre will begin running the ACT Government's Road Ready
Program.
This course will be run on Wednesday evenings from 3.30pm - 5pm,
commencing on the 23rd of October over 9 weeks. The training will be run
out of the mura Lanyon Youth & Community Centre.
Eligibility: Young people whom are unable to complete the Road Ready
course at school, and must hold a valid health care card (or their
primary carer or parents, must hold a health care card).
This is a joint venture between the YWCA of Canberra's Youth Connections
and Youth Engagement teams. There are 10 spots available. This course is
normally $160.00 at a Road Ready Training Provider, but is FREE of
charge for young people that fulfil the eligibility criteria.
