Centre for Applied Disability Research (CADR)

Introducing the Centre for  Applied Disability Research (CADR).  This new centre was opened by the NSW Minister for Disability Services Mr John Ajaka.  The Centre has been set up by NDS, with NSW Government funding, to gather insights, build understanding an share knowledge across the sector. CADR's work will help to develop a coordinated, evidence-based approach to improving the wellbeing of Australians with disability. A applied research conference will be held in Sydney in May 2014. CADR is already working with disability researchers, consumer organisations and other parties interested in achieving better outcomes for people with disability to translate high-quality research into sector practice. Visit the CADR website and sign up for the monthly newsletter, lines of inquiry and follow CADR on Twitter - @CADRnews
