2014 workshops

Happy New Year to everyone!

*'Funnyworks Oz' *is back into the swing of things for the new year and
offering exciting new cartooning and art therapy programs! Sessions
include mixing the *Quick Draw* program with more conventional based
workshops including newer themes such as* life story describing*. These
are sessions for older age groups (or younger groups) where their
life/life circumstance is described through a Quick Draw approach
directly on paper for them to keep, frame or refer to long after the
workshop. This is particularly focused for aged people where their
lives can be celebrated in illustration.

Other workshop themes are also being updated, with newer themes such
as* body image, my support links, my community* and other Quick Draw
session focused topics which are being adapted for all levels of
participation.

*Funnyworks Oz *is also providing a series of weekly cartooning
workshops at *Belconnen Arts Centre (BAC) *over terms 1 and 2 on
Thursday evenings beginning on *Thursday February 6th from 6 - 7.30pm.
*This is an exciting and interactive program which demonstrates how to
create cartoon characters, comic strips, caricaturing skills and many
other tricks of the trade! Costs are $30 per session or $200 per term

If you have kids who might be a bit bored during the school holidays
Funnyworks Oz is also providing caricaturing and cartooning workshops at
Old Parliament House Museum Of Democracy (MOAD) as part of the 'Behind
The Lines' exhibition. Contact MOAD for bookings and all info for this
one - fun and challenging sessions form 14th - 24th January!
