ACT HEALTH PROMOTION GRANTS PROGRAM - 2014 HEALTH PROMOTION INNOVATION
FUND (Opportunity 2)
This is a reminder that the cut off date for applications to the Health
Promotion Innovation Fund (Opportunity 2) is 5.00pm Friday 21 February
2014.
This funding is to support innovative community-based health promotion
projects that improve population health outcomes. The priority focus is
on tackling overweight and obesity and improving children's health
including improving eating habits and improving physical activity
outcomes. Other priorities such as supporting smoking prevention,
reduction and cessation, supporting healthy active ageing and reducing
the harmful and hazardous consumption of alcohol will also be eligible
for funding.
The Health Promotion Innovation Fund provides funding for single year
projects of up to $15,000.
Community-based not-for-profit organisations, school communities, and
ACT Government agencies are welcome to apply.
Applications can be submitted at any time with funding released three
times a year. If you are unable to submit an application by 21 February
2014, the cut off date for the next assessment of the Health Promotion
Innovation Fund (Opportunity 3) is Friday 20 June 2014.
