As the National Disability Insurance Scheme will launch in the ACT on 1 July 2014, the Youth Coalition monthly forum in February will focus on young people and the NDIS. This will be a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of the NDIS from both a government and non-government perspective and the way in which the NDIS and individualised support models will impact on young people specifically.

 

The following guest speakers will be presenting at the forum:

· Dougie Herd, National Disability Insurance Agency · Kate Starick, ACT Taskforce, National Disability Insurance Scheme · Stephen Fox, National Disability Service Youth Coalition forums are targeted to youth workers and all others who work with young people. Anyone interested in youth affairs or in hearing from these key services is also very welcome to attend.
