Early Days Promotion

AAACT are pleased to be presenting Early Days Workshops in 2014

Early Days is a series of 6 workshops for Mothers, Fathers, Carers and
Families of young children (0-6 years) who have an Autism Spectrum
Disorder or who are going through the assessment and diagnostic process.

The 1st Workshop is on Friday 14th of March 2014 9.15 - 4pm Early Days
Introductory Workshop

During this workshop you will learn:
* About ASD and what it means for your child and your family
* Practical strategies that make a difference to your
child's development
* How to select and maximise an intervention

The 2nd Workshop is on Wednesday 9th of April 10 - 1.30pm Transition to
School Workshop

During this practical workshop you will learn:
* The importance of working as a transition team
* Tips and ideas for things to help you ready your child for
school
* Information about the funding available after your child
turns 7

Specialised workshops for Indigenous and CaLD families are available on
request.
These workshops are funded by the Federal Government Helping Children
with Autism package and are delivered by local facilitators.
