Just Better Care Canberra & South East NSW (JBCC) is a responsive, dynamic
and innovative community support agency in the ACT/South East NSW region.
We provide in-home support services in the areas of disability, aged care

JBCC has created an exciting new position within the organisation as a
result of increasing demand for services and a strong company desire to
ensure that all individuals are properly informed about their options and
availability of services that will enhance their lives. The Good Life
Facilitator will be a highly motivated professional, experienced in both
operational and managerial roles within the community sector. Based in
Canberra, the position reports directly to the Service Development Manager
and will have a strong focus on case management.
Specific Duties of the role include:
Effectively engage and develop relationships with the community sector and
their clients; Liaise with our private client base to ensure service
delivery is flexible and responsive; Represent JBCC at network meetings,
community sector events and wider community occasions;
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
Experience within the community sector; A strong understanding of the
context of service delivery within the community sector; A strong and
realistic understanding of complex personal barriers faced by people living
with disabilities; A strong knowledge of support services that could assist
and enhance the lives of those living with disabilities; A strong and
realistic understanding of associated issues impacting the lives of people
and their families living with disabilities; Experience in working in a
case management frame work; Professional and positive attitude and
presentation; Energetic and flexible, Empathetic; A passion for improving
the outcomes for the more vulnerable in our community; Qualifications in a
relevant field; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Excellent time management skills; Excellent interpersonal skills;
Willingness and ability to to work flexibly in response to changing needs;
Strong written and oral skills; Sound computer s!
kills; Current valid driver's licence; Australian citizen or permanent
resident; Working with Vulnerable People registration.
The successful applicant will receive a generous salary package as well as
opportunities for ongoing professional training and development. Hours are
negotiable and less than fulltime hours are possible.
