BRIGHT BUT STRUGGLING - GIFTED underachievers Do you have a child who is obviously bright BUT is experiences some or all of these:

Struggles with handwriting
Is very disorganised
Can be highly sensitive
Is easily distracted
Show keen visual skills and poor listening skills Is highly creative, inventive, imaginative Generates unusual solutions to problems Has great ideas but rarely completes task Reads well but is poor at spelling Has difficulty following oral directions Gets the correct answer in maths but can't explain how Is good at maths concepts but struggles with times tables

Then this workshop is for you.

Cognitive Assessments
We are now able to offer a brief IQ assessment - the K-Bit 2 ( Kaufmann Brief Intelligence Test, 2nd Edition). This test assesses both verbal and non verbal skills and has a .77 correlation with the FSIQ and .84 with the GAI on the WISC IV.
This can be done as part of our Full Comprehensive Developmental Assessment or as a stand alone assessment.
