Casual Activity Support Worker
As a Casual Activity Support Worker you will be responsible for assisting participants with social functions and/or activities either during the day or on overnight excursions and/or care for people with disability in a home like environment.
Assist participants to participate actively in community, social and civic activities. This includes supporting participants during these activities, and developing participants' ability to partake in these activities.
Support participants in training and development activities for daily living and life skills to increase their ability to live as autonomously as possible. Training will be provided either individually or through group activities and will include daily life activities, communication and social skills, problem solving skills.
In this casual position you will be reporting to the Commercial Services Manager and Branch Out Activities Coordinator, you will work collaboratively within the Commercial Services Team and other Teams in the Organisation.
To be successful in this position you will have the ability to embrace and participate in a positive organisational culture and stated organisational values. You will be reliable and flexible with a 'can do' attitude to positively influence others and undertake program delivery. You will have at minimum a Certificate III in Disability, a current first aid certificate, current drivers licence and Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP). You will need to undergo registration if you do not have this.
