Emerging Leaders Program

Excellent facilitation skills are fundamental for workplace leadership but not always easy to master. This workshop will provide an understanding of facilitation practice that can be applied in meetings and a range of other fora. The workshop will introduce participants to techniques and approaches that will enable you to be a confident and effective facilitator.
Key learning outcomes include:
- Bringing out the opinions and ideas of others
- Planning meetings
- Dealing with disrupters: preventions and interventions
- Understanding the goals of a meeting
- Writing an effective agenda and keeping to time
- Identify your audience and their needs
- Managing anxiety
