Northside Community Services is a not-for-profit regional community service delivering more than 40 diverse programs and services to a wide range of people in the ACT, including children, young people, families, older people and people with a disability and / or their carers. The majority of the people to whom we deliver programs and services experience multiple and complex barriers to social and economic participation, including homelessness, unemployment, low educational attainment, disengagement from family and social supports, exposure to domestic violence and alcohol and other drugs, limited access to transport, and functional limitations resulting from mental illness. We have a long track record for developing partnerships for the delivery of innovative, client-centered services that go beyond standard program guidelines.
The Aged & Disability team is currently seeking applications from highly motivated candidates for the full time, fixed term contract position of a Team Leader, Access Services who will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the following programs:
* Domestic Assistance
* Personal Care
* Community Transport Program
Reporting to the Program Manager, Access & Engagement, the main duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
* Provide support and supervision for all staff in the Access team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, sufficient staff coverage and appropriate training opportunities.
* Monitor the support planning process for all Access program service users.
* Provide monthly report to the Program Manager, Access & Engagement.
* Monitor the delivery of service outputs, addressing any issues arising, in order to ensure that service agreement targets are met for all service types.
