Sector Development Fund Resources: Reminder for Providers : 2014 and 2015 ACT NDIS Business Investment Packages and NDIS Readiness Toolkit

 

Expressions of Interest for the first round of the 2015 ACT NDIS Business Investment Packages will be accepted until Monday 11 May 2015

 

This programme is designed to provide tailored professional assistance to eligible community providers to achieve NDIS related business plan objectives, for up to $50 000 per organisation.

 

The BIP resources may be used to address complex reform related to service design and/or establishment, financial viability, workforce redevelopment, human resource management, organisational structure and systems; and governance.  The assistance may be:

• purchased by CSD on behalf of the community service provider from one of the pre-contracted panel of providers

• provided in other ways as outlined in the programme guidelines at: http://www.communityservices.act.gov.au/disability_act/national_disability_insurance_scheme/grants

 

Single or joint applications are invited. In the case of joint applications the maximum total funding available is the equivalent of $50 000 per partner organisation.  Applications and enquiries should be addressed to ndis@act.gov.au

 

2014 ACT NDIS Business Investment Packages must be finalised before the end of the current financial year

 

Please note that 2014 BIP funds must be spent this financial year.  These funds will not carry over beyond that time.  Please contact me if you would like to talk about your 2014 BIP.

 

Support to Undertake the (revised) 2015 NDIS Organisational Readiness Toolkit

 

ACT organisations can apply for up to three days expert support and guidance to complete the NDIS Organisational Readiness Toolkit which is a product of the National Disability Service (NDS). Eligible organisations may be:

·         existing providers of disability services in the ACT or those wishing to move into, or expand their provision of, disability services to ACT residents; or

·         individuals or small newly establishing businesses looking to establish as NDIS service providers.

 

Applications may be accepted from March 2015 to 1 November 2015 or until funds have been expended. Information about eligibility and how to submit an Expression of Interest is available at Guide to ACT NDS NDIS Readiness Toolkit Assistance Program with more information available in the FAQ.
