Disability Advocacy Network Australia, (DANA) Ltd has an exciting and
challenging position available in Canberra for a skilled, motivated and
dynamic individual.
DANA is the peak body for almost 70 independent disability advocacy
organisations across Australia. Our functions include carrying out research
and policy analysis, advocacy, public campaigns and other projects designed
to advance the interests of Australians with disabilities and the advocacy
organisations that seek to support them.
This position will involve working as part of a small team and have
responsibility for developing DANA policy positions in critical policy
areas, consulting with DANA members and other stakeholders, assisting to
develop and implement policy advocacy and campaigning strategies, and
participating in ongoing research projects.
