Community event for all levels of ability 21st & 22nd September

WHEEL-A-THON 2013

The annual Wheel-a-Thon is a community fundraising event suitable for all
ages and all levels of ability.
"Wheels" can include wheelchairs, scooters, roller blades, push bikes,
recumbents, or even pushing a pram.

You don't have to "wheel" for the entire 24 hours - you choose when you want
to be there and for how long.

WHEN: 12:00 Noon Saturday 21st September to
12:00 Noon Sunday 22nd September

WHERE: Stromlo Forest Park Criterium Circuit

WHY: To support a person with disability by raising funds for the Hartley
Lifecare Assistive Technology Program.
Help provide access to technology to enhance communication, environmental
control and improve access to the work place and education for people with
disability in the ACT.

HOW: 3 different ways

. Form a team
Grab your family, friends or colleagues, form a team and join in the
family fun.
Take turns wheeling around the circuit as few or as many times as you like
then tag a team mate to take over. Registration is available online at
www.everydayhero.com.au/event/wheelathon2013

. Turn up on the day
Come along any time from Saturday 12:00 noon and register. A family entry is
$60 and includes 2 adults and 3 children. 'Wheel' for as long as you can and
enjoy the food, entertainment and fun activities.

. Support a team
Busy but want to get involved!
You can still do your bit. Support a person with a disability by visiting
