Disability Advisory Council - seeking your comments

The ACT Disability Advisory Council is a key advisory body to the ACT Government on issues affecting people with disability and wants your input on what its future role should be. The Council is undertaking a refresh and wants to hear from you on how it can best engage with the community when providing advice to Government.

How you can take part.

In person
An independent research company will conduct a community conversation on the future role and function of the Disability Advisory Council. The Community Conversation will take place:

The NDIS webpage has been updated with new information.

As part of the update, the My Access Checker has been redeveloped and is now available for ACT residents, to check their eligibility for the scheme.

This page shares videos, stories, quotes and cameos that show how the National Disability Insurance Scheme will help people with disability, their families and carers and providers.

Enhanced Service Offer Grants

The grants closed on 8 November 2013 with over 1500 applications received.

Applicants will begin to be advised of the outcome of their grants from January 2014.
