Next CEO Forum with ACT NDIA
The next monthly ACT CEO forum of providers of services to people disability with the NDIA will be held on 16 July.
Location and time: As usual the forum will be held at NDS - 33 Thesiger Court, Deakin*. Please note, however, that the time for the meeting has been extended so that it will run from 9.00 am to 11.00 am (previously 1.5 hours)**.
(* While the location will remain the same, the chairing of the forum will, for different meetings, alternate between NDS and the ACT Mental Health Community Coalition (MHCCACT) to assist in ensuring good coverage at the meetings of all relevant areas. MHCCACT will lead the meeting on 20 August.)

For: CEOs or senior managers of organisations that provide or expect to provide services to people with disability under the NDIS. Organisations are limited to two representatives.
(This includes disability service organisations, mental health providers, providers of early intervention services, allied health therapists delivering services to people with disability and for-profit organisations registered or intending to be registered as an NDIS provider.)

Scope and approach: The Forum is an informal dialogue of service providers including mental health service providers with the NDIA in the ACT particularly to address (and resolve as far as possible) in a cooperative, joint-problem-solving manner:
* transactional and communications issues with the roll out of the trial and
* system design, and
* transition design and implementation.
The forum also has presentations and information sharing on current implementation matters. The forum on 16 July will feature a significant presentation by the NDIA on the new pricing clusters due to commence on 1 August 2015. Prior submission of questions: To provide opportunity for better engagement at the forums attendees are requested as far as possible to raise issues or questions ahead of time in writing. Questions should be sent with the heading 'CEO Forum Questions' to NDSACT@nds.org.au<mailto:NDSACT@nds.org.au>.
Access: Audio captioning is provided. Disability parking is available - please advise Nada Jurjevic. Parking generally is available off Denison Street or off Thesiger Court.
