AAACT is promoting an initiative of HP, where they are recruiting people with an ASD to work in the area of software applications testing in the Canberra Region. The entry into this software-testing career is via the Test Analyst job role. Applications are requested to fill these Test Analyst roles.
Successful candidates will start by learning how to perform the execution of test sets and how to document the actual test results and findings. They will also undergo training to be able to perform other more complex testing tasks.
Holding a tertiary qualification in a technical or business area is desirable, but not a prerequisite. If there is some experience in skills such as computer programming, system administration, or similar software application oriented tasks, this would be highly regarded.
