Tenants Participation Grants Program

Just letting you all know about a fantastic opportunity for public and
community housing tenants.

Housing ACT has just opened the Tenants Participation Grants Program
(TPG) - what was previously know as Tenant Initiated Grants (TIG).

The grants are available for individuals living in public and community
housing for two purposes:
* as individuals - up to $500 to access sport, art or recreation and up
to $1000 for education or employment
* as groups (just like the current Tenant Initiated Grants), for group
projects with a community focus such as establishing and maintaining
shared gardens or promoting social interactions for tenant groups

The grants close on 28 November .

WCS is auspicing all these grants and they will start from 1 January
2012 and all money will need to be spent by 31 December 2012.

individual applications up to 1pm)
