Duties
Are you looking to develop your administrative skills and expand your knowledge whilst adding value to our organisation?

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, the Department of Health and Ageing, the Department of Defence and AusAID are seeking conscientious and motivated people who are interested in a non-ongoing administration traineeship over 18 months. Candidates will need to be willing to successfully complete a Certificate II in Business Administration through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as part of this traineeship.

As a person with an intellectual disability, you will be required to meet the definition supplied in the Candidate Pack and be willing to address the selection criteria.

Eligibility
In accordance with clauses 4.2(6) (b) (ii) and 4.3(3) (b) (ii) of the Public Service Commissioners Directions 1999, this employment opportunity has been designated as a restricted employment opportunity and is open only to applicants with an intellectual disability – definition available in candidate pack.

These positions are part-time and successful applicants will be employed on a non-ongoing basis for 36 hours per fortnight including 6 hours study per fortnight over the 18 month period.
