Everyone, Everyday is a disability awareness program being developed by
BLITS (Business Leaders Innovative Thoughts and Solutions), Disability ACT
and the Education and Training Directorate.

The aim of the program is to positively influence attitudes and behaviours
within the community by raising awareness about disability amongst the next
generation of decision-makers - ACT school students.

A Curriculum Resource is being developed for ACT school teachers. The
Everyone Everyday Curriculum Resource will include a set of classroom ideas
that are evidence based and align with the new Australian Curriculum and the
ACT Schools Curriculum Framework - Every Chance to Learn. The University of
Canberra and the Australian Catholic University are critical friends
supporting the program.

A discussion paper has been created to guide consultations on the curriculum
resource. The paper can be found at www.blits.org.au

This forum will be facilitated by Dr Chris Kilham, a Senior Lecturer in the
Faculty of Education at the University of Canberra.

Please RSVP to: Lisa McClelland 6205 2122 or lisa.mcclelland@act.gov.au
