UNDERSTANDING THE PUBLIC ADVOCATE AND GUARDIANSHIP - a course for family
carers

These sessions aim to give family carers insight and practical advice into
some of the legal matters that can help them in their present and future
caring roles. Topics to be covered include the roles of the Public Advocate
and the Public Trustee, Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and
Guardianship.

Facilitator: A representative of The Public Advocate of the ACT.

Evening Session
Date: Thursday 29 March
Time: 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Venue: CIT Southside Campus, Woden

Day Session
Date: Thursday 3 May
Time: 10.00am - 12.00 noon
Venue: St Margaret's Uniting Church, cnr Antill & Phillip Sts Hackett.
