Building Confidence – a fun packed info day
Nican is offering a FREE workshop to empower people with a disability to build skills & confidence to get out, get involved and have fun.
10.00 – 12.00pm on Saturday 21 April 2012 at SHOUT in the Building 1, Pearce Community Centre, Collett Place Pearce followed by lunch at 12.30pm. Concurrent sessions for women and young people follow from 12.30 – 2.30pm.
What do you get?
· Identify barriers & ways to break through
· Make a plan for action.
· Hear from World Champion Paralympic Gold Medallist and tandem cyclist, Lindy Hou OAM about her journey & keeping motivated.
· Get ideas to help you decide what you want to do and how to go and do it.

· Bonus! Following the workshop there will be two sessions providing tips and speed networking to connect Young People & Women with disabilities

Nican offers FREE sessions to empower young people and women with a disability to build confidence & skills to get out, get involved and have fun.
Where: Join us for lunch at 12.00 noon followed by the workshop from 12.30 – 2.30 pm on Saturday 21 April 2012 at SHOUT in the Pearce Community Centre, Collett Place Pearce.

· Hook up with fun things to do with an interactive ‘speed networking’ session with sports, volunteering, socialising, recreation, personal development, dance, gaming, safety and other opportunities.
