ENTRIES NOW OPEN FOR THE ACT HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ANNUAL ART AWARD

ENTRIES NOW OPEN FOR THE ACT HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ANNUAL ART AWARD

This year, as a way of recognising the contribution older people make to
our community, the ACT Human Rights Commission Annual Art Award is
seeking entries from OLDER MEMBERS of the ACT community.

The theme is 'Celebrating Children & Young People' and we are asking
entrants to create an artwork that reflects positive images and thoughts
about being a child or young person.

It can be about a child or young person you know... Your own
grandchildren or great grandchildren, your neighbours...
Or it can be a reflection of your childhood, what you loved about
growing up, your best memories...anything really!
We are after any type of artwork, a painting, a sculpture, a tapestry...
As long as it is no bigger than 1mx1m!

Finalists will be exhibited at the Belconnen Arts Centre in July 2012
and there are some great prizes to give away!!
