Carers get very used to putting others ahead of themselves. They often
look after others and lose sight of their own needs and then wonder why
they have so little energy, have trouble remembering things and why
their life seems so lacking in pleasure and joy.
This workshop will be an enjoyable opportunity for carers to come
together and consider:
* Why it is so important to nurture ourselves in encouraging and
healthy ways
* How cherishing ourselves is one of the keys to better
relationships, better health and a happier self.
* Taking positive steps towards understanding our own needs and
desires
* Finding a balance between caring for themselves as well as
others without feeling guilty or overwhelmed.
