Free SoSafe Training for primary unpaid care givers of people with a disability

Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT, (SHFPACT), is offering no cost So Safe training for
non paid primary carers of young people with intellectual disabilities
Visual & Conceptual Tools to promote Social Safety

SoSAFE! is a set of visual and conceptual tools designed to promote social safety to clients with an Intellectual Disability (moderate to severe range) and Autism Spectrum Disorder. SoSAFE! tools promote social safety through the provision of a simplified and rule-governed model of social reality that teaches the type and degree of verbal and physical intimacy appropriate with different categories of people.

Saturdays 23rd June & 30th June 9am – 12.30pm (inclusive)

Cost is free – this training has been made possible through an ACE Grant, an ACT Government initiative
