WHAT IS IT?

Digital Storytelling is an opportunity for people with a disability to capture their stories on a short 3-5 minute DVD. They’ll be supported to reflect on their skills, characteristics, interests and dreams; and this information is then presented in a unique digital format.

WHY?

An audio-visual ‘snapshot’ of a person can assist with the goal of “telling my story once”. It can also be used as an introductory tool for prospective employers; involvement in activities; connecting with community or just to keep as a memento.

WHO FOR?

Workshops will commence in June for people with a disability who are leaving school. If there’s sufficient interest additional workshops for other folk with a disability will be organised in the coming months.
