NYD Conference
24th & 25th September 2012, Jasper Hotel, Elizabeth St, Melbourne. This highly anticipated event will bring together young people with disabilities from across Australia, peak bodies and representative organisations to:
· Identify priority National issues faced by young Australians with disabilities and develop clear actions in relation to these.
· Strengthen the voice of young Australians with disabilities.
· Provide opportunities for service providers and peak bodies to respond more effectively to the needs of young Australians with disabilities.
Keynote speakers include The Hon. Kelly Vincent MLC, Stella Young, Editor of ABC's Ramp Up, The Hon. Peter Garrett, Minister for School Education, Early Childhood and Youth (TBC), and The Hon.
