Open Day at the DISH

Drop into the DISH

The Disability Information and Support Hub (DISH@Oatley) in Belconnen will host its inaugural Open Day on Thursday 5 July 2012 from 10am-7pm.

The Drop in to the DISH open day is themed Money! Money! Money! and will focus on financial matters.

On the day you can attend the following presentations:

·         The Public Trustee – 11:00am

·         Care Financial Management – 12:00noon

·         Disability Discrimination Legal Service – 12:30pm

·         Belconnen Arts Centre ‘Affordable Art’ – 1:30pm

Representatives from a range of services will be available for you to talk to:

·         DISH staff – 10:00am-7:00pm

·         Tenant’s Union – 11:00am-3:00pm

·         Centrelink – 10:00am-5:00pm

·         Belconnen Community Service Energy Efficiency Program – 12:00pm-2:00pm

·         Disability Discrimination Legal Officer – 1:00-3:00pm

·         Advance Personnel (open employment) – 10:00am-5:00pm

·         LEAD (supported employment) – 10:00am-2:00pm

·         Housing ACT – 10:00am-5:00pm

You can also participate in NAIDOC week BBQ lunch (free) and sign a ‘Close the Gap’ pledge book.
