ACT NDIS Upcoming Forums

There are three NDIS forums being held in Canberra. The next one is this

ACT National Disability Insurance Update Upcoming ACT forums on National
Disability Insurance Scheme Information on the implementation of the NDIS
launch site in the ACT is being provided through a number of events in the
coming months.
These forums will provide some early opportunities to be informed about,
and, in some cases, with address questions to Federal or ACT Government
members about the NDIS is implementation. Attendance at these events is
free.

Forum 2 & 3: NDIS Launch in the ACT: Two Public Information Sessions
National Disability Services, the ACT Government, and People with
Disabilities ACT invite all members of the public to a public information
meeting about the launch of the National Disability Insurance Scheme in the
ACT. NDS Chief Executive, Ken Baker, will be speaking at these meetings.
Date: Wednesday 29 August
Time: 12.30 - 2.00pm
Venue: Aegean Room of the Hellenic Club, Launceston Street, Woden and

Venue: Foyer, the Belconnen Arts Centre, Emu Bank, Belconnen (note the
change of venue) Accessible parking, captioning and hearing loops are
available for these meetings.

Forum 4: Australian Federation for Disability Organisations ( AFDO ) - NDIS
Forum for People with a Disability, their Families and Carers (see Flyer
attached)
The Australian Federation for Disability Organisations (AFDO), a partner of
National Disability Services and Carers Australia in the National Disability
and Carer Alliance, is hosting a forum for people with a disability, their
families and carers.
