Working Wonders, staffed by volunteers, provides clothing, shoes and
accessories (for free and to keep) to women in the ACT region going for
job interviews, making court appearances and for other times they need
more formal clothing but are unable to provide for it themselves.
Working Wonders accepts donations of a) good quality, clean clothing and
accessories that belong in a working wardrobe etc or b) money. You can
also volunteer to help out.
Clothes etc can be dropped off at:
Downer Business Park reception, 2 Bradfield St, Downer Woden Community
Service, 26 Corinna St, Phillip (in town centre) Women's Information and
Referral Service, 13 London Circuit, Civic; between University Avenue
and Farrell Place, close to Kate Lundy's office.
Money donations can be made either on Working Wonders website:
