Topic: Security and Privacy in the Internet World (60 minutes including
question time)

Audience: Home user with basic Internet and computer skills.

Have you ever wondered how you can protect your computer?

Have you ever wondered how much personal information you are sharing to
the whole world, including your exact geo location?

Have you ever wondered how you can protect your personal information?

If any of these questions sound very familiar then this presentation is
for you!

The aim of this presentation is to provide a home user with Internet
security awareness. The presenter will take the audience through an
insight into the real threats presented in the Internet world. The
presenter will also provide a home user with practical methods and
examples on how to protect themselves from these threats. What this
presentation will not provide: legal advice. Audience are encouraged to
bring pen and notepaper.



About the presenter:

Sarah Djula is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and
has obtained her Master's degree in Information Security from Royal
Melbourne Institute of Technology. Sarah has over 7 years experience in
IT Security. She is a specialist in the area of network security,
vulnerability assessment, computer forensics and risk management.
