seeking expressions of interest for participants and volunteers

It has been identified that there are few affordable basic cooking
classes for the community to attend, so, Local Area Coordination is
seeking expressions of interest for an all inclusive basic cooking class
to be run from Woden Community Service. If you know of anyone that would
benefit from participating in a basic cooking class, please send their
details to the below contacts. If there is enough interest a class may
start in Feb 2013.

If you or someone you know may be interested in volunteering their time
to help support this class, please send details to the contacts below.

Local Area Coordination (LAC) aims to build individual, family and
community self sufficiency so that individuals with a disability can
achieve what they want to achieve, live how they want to live and are
valued as full and equal members of the ACT community. LAC does this by
supporting individuals to identify their needs, goals and strengths to
plan and start working toward their future.
