Come and Join the fun of the Circus Celebration Day:
Have you ever wanted to run away and join the circus? Now is your chance!!
Women With Disabilities ACT (WWDACT) is organising a fun, exciting and
energetic Circus Celebration Day in Canberra City on December 3rd, 2013 in
recognition of International Day of People with Disabilities.
Push the boundaries-extend yourself- escape the study doldrums!
Make 2013 the year you do something daringly different!
Those interested are invited to form a troupe of women to learn a set of
circus skills beginning in July for a five month skills development and
rehearsal period conducted by the Warehouse Circus one day (various times)
every fortnight.
This will culminate in a gala celebration on the 3rd December International
day for People with Disabilities.
This is an event which includes all people from the wider community to join
the come- and-try element of the day.
WWDACT is trying to promote community engagement through this wonderful day!
Come and be involved!
WWDACT looks forward to hearing from each and every one of you saying that
you can join this fantastically fun event!!
WWDACT is excited about the planned Circus Celebration Day as it involves
creating social connectedness and capacity building for women with
disabilities which WWDACT feels is currently an area of unmet demand.
