Northside Community Service is expanding its Aged Care and Disability Team
and is looking for courageous new workers to join our Target Support Team.
We are looking for people with:

Northside Community Service is a community based organisation located in
Canberra's inner north, recognised for our expertise and innovation in
community services and development.

looking for people who will work closely with them in their home and out in
the community to show that anything is possible if you work together.
The Targeted Support Team aims to enhance the quality of life for people who
are frail aged, have a disability, and their carers through the provision of
tailored flexible support to promote skills development and enhance
independence. The Team works to provide exceptional, innovative support to
clients and their families with a view of forming a unique partnership based
on inclusion, choice and trust.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support individuals to have fun, enjoy life, and have meaningful
connections with their community
- The provision of packaged support as identified by an individual
including: Social Inclusion, - Post Hospital Support and Domestic
Assistance, Personal Care.
- Effective communication with individuals, families, carers, staff and
other members of the community
- Flexibility, sensitivity and awareness of the value of diversity in
culture, lifestyle and abilities.

This is a casual position with the possibility of permanent part time
employment with generous remuneration based upon passion and experience.
