FREE HOME ENERGY AND WATER ASSISTANCE

The Outreach energy and water efficiency program assists low income
households to reduce their energy and water use and save money on their
bills.
Any household experiencing financial hardship with a household income
less than the national rental scheme income may be eligible.
The aim is to provide education to the household. By participating in
the program the household will learn how to reduce energy and water
consumption, improve comfort in their home, reduce impact on the
environment and make their household bills more affordable.

The energy efficiency officer will provide education and assess the
household's needs on the first visit and if identified the household may
be eligible for further assistance.

Organisational based workshops for staff or groups can be coordinated on
request to improve knowledge around energy and water saving within the
house hold. Contact your nearest organisation to make suitable
arrangements.
The Outreach Energy and Water Efficiency Program is funded with
assistance from the ACT Government.
