Horticulture Classes for People with a Disability

Certificate 1 in Horticulture/Foundation Skills for People with a
Disability

The Certificate 1 in Horticulture/ Foundation Skills is for people with
a disability, and is designed to give students the basic skills and
knowledge to work in the horticulture industry.

This 12 month course will include subjects such as:
* Preparing for work
* Nursery and plant production skills
* Propagation and potting plants
* Nursery-based skills
* Team ethics and workplace skills

The course also includes subjects from the Foundation Skills Training
package, enabling students to further develop their language, literacy
and numeracy skills.

When: Mondays, 9:30am - 3.00pm (including lunch break)
Starts: 17 February 2014
Where: CIT Bruce
Cost: $40.20 per semester
