About the Facilitator

Dr Robert (Bob) Jackson has been closely involved with inclusive school communities for many years, advising families, teachers, schools and education systems on the rationale and practicalities of inclusive education. Throughout his career Bob has worked directly with families of children living with disability in their efforts to achieve an ordinary valued life for their sons and daughters. Based in WA, Bob has had a long-standing association with Edith Cowan University and is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor. Links to Australian Professional Standards – PD for school leaders, those aspiring leadership, teachers & education assistants:
“Skilling the Willing” and “Maximising the impacts of Educational Assistants” Workshops to be held on April 2&3 at the Headley Beare CTL will provide teachers and school leaders with explicit connections to the Australian Professional Standards.
Standards addressed include

There are 4 workshops available, each running for a half day. Wednesday will be focused on infant and primary school teachers. Thursday’s focus will be on secondary school education.
