Workshop: Introduction to Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying Law (9 April)

The ACT Human Rights and Discrimination Commissioner is providing free
training on Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying for the Community
Sector. This workshop provides comprehensive coverage of this critical
workplace issue by helping individuals and organisations understand their
rights and responsibilities.

What will you learn?
* Everyday examples of how harassment and bullying happens;
* How to recognise behaviour that could be harassment and bullying;
* Understanding the human and financial costs of harassment and
bullying;
* How harassment and bullying connects with the Discrimination Act
1991, and work safety law;
* Discrimination issues in the workplace, including in recruitment;
and
* Strategies to respond to and prevent harassment and bullying.
