Please join us for The Imagined Future, a community conversation and hands-on planning activity to help people living with disability and their families to prepare for the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in July 2014. Presented by Belconnen Community Service (BCS), with funding support from the Commonwealth and ACT Governments, the sessions include a facilitated exercise designed to encourage creative and imaginative planning for the future. Facilitators include people with lived experience of disability and BCS employees with experience in Disability Work and Community Development. Please note that The Imagined Future is not a Government led information session but our presenters will provide up-to-date information about the status of existing services and the opportunities for greater independence and self-determination that the NDIS will offer.
