Its time for everyone to support people with disabilities to attend the Control & Choice Expo on Thursday 22 May.
You can:
1. Distribute the flyer and other information http://www.advocacyforinclusion.org/index.php/control-choice-expo/people-with-disabilities
2. Support people with disabilities that you know or support to get there
3. Support people with disabilities to prepare their questions for exhibitors
4. Come along if you are a person with disability in the local region.
The Expo is accessible and will have quiet spaces for people with disabilities to rest if they need to. Exhibitors are required to ensure that their exhibit is accessible and doesn't have barriers or hindrances. There will be a hearing loop on the Showcase Corner for presentations.
Accessible ACTION buses run right past the venue every 15 minutes!
A large dedicated car park for accessible parking has been allocated by EPIC right outside the venue (several hundred spaces).
The Control & Choice Expo is designed for people with disabilities, so bring them along!
Show bags will be given to each visitor. A café will operate on the day inside the pavilion.
With over 100 local and interstate exhibitors across a wide range of services and products, the Control & Choice Expo is the place to find out what you can do with your NDIS support. http://www.advocacyforinclusion.org/index.php/control-choice-expo
